Visit Hope Meadows Amid the fertile farmlands of central Illinois stands a unique residential community that reaches across generations to affect the quality of life of children, working families and seniors. Here, neglected and abused children, who have been removed from their biological parents for their safety, find, perhaps for the first time in their lives, a permanent and caring home. Here, children find not just parents and a home, but also grandparents, playmates and an entire neighborhood designed to help them grow up in a secure and nurturing environment.

Project Mercy an international relief ministry, serves and has served African people over the last 25 years. In the beginning, Project Mercy provided emergency relief and relocation assistance to Ethiopian refugees. Due to the devastating famine and civil strife during the 1970’s and 1980’s, the work was stretched beyond Ethiopia to meet the needs of refugees in seven additional countries: Guinea, Kenya, Malawi, Djibouti, Ivory Coast, Liberia, and Sudan.
